Young Reportres for the Environment team from Ari Private Middle School hosted a virtual interview with Mr. Hakan
Yazıcıoğlu, the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Indicators Group President, on November 11, 2022. During
the intereview Mr. Yazıcıoğlu underlined the importance of sustainable development of cities in terms of population
growth, safe accessibility and sustainable ecosystems. The main concern of modern cities, such as Ankara and Istanbul,
is population growth with %50 of the world’s population living in cities at present. Young reporters for the environment
proposed their action plan of how to create a safe sustainable Ankara for people within the SDGs action plan 2015 – 2030.
